But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
.... With His body did he block those that would have beaten (chastise) us and since he has received those beatings on our behalf , we have peace, we are not wounded in any form and are therefore preemptively healed.
The healing through His stripes is actually pro actively preemptive. The healing has been done even before we became sick. Simply put, he has immunized us with his covering, with which he receives chastisement on our behalf... His Body is a protective shell around us.
Is this not beautiful.... Praise the Lord..
